- Convert photos from an event to black and white. Doing this makes choosing a color scheme soooo easy since anything will match!
- Choose a color scheme. And do it the EASY way by picking a favorite color scheme from a piece of paper, ribbon or stickers and choosing the colors that coordinate. For my wedding album I went SUPER EASY by choosing the Deja Views Paper & Punch-Out Tablet which had 8x8 coordinating papers, die-cuts and cardstock & vellum quotes all coordinating.
- Once you have a color scheme (the paper & punch-out tablet in my case), then choose some solid coordinating colored cardstock for matting photos, base pages and other embellishing.
- Next, find embellishments! Pick out ribbons, buttons, brads, etc. that coordinate! Also fun are bare chipboard pieces that you can stamp on, cover with cardstock, etc. to match your color scheme.
- Like to stamp on your scrapbook pages? Pick out a set of stamps and a couple colors of ink to coordinate. (Don't get carried away with a ton of inkpads...)
- Now for the most important step, get going on that scrapbook and CREATE! Because you have picked out a bunch of coordinating items, anything goes!
Here are two pages from my wedding scrapbook. Check more out at the store!
Remember, there is no right or wrong in scrapbooking
but by choosing coordinating papers and embellishments scrapbooking can be EASY!

Hi Heather! These are so SO pretty!! Love how you treated the chipboard. I was so sad I missed Friday's crop. I got the email and would have come but my hubby just got home from a trip earlier that day. Next Month for SURE expect to see me there! :) :)
